Welcome to the Southwell Squash Club web site.   Southwell Squash Club is a well run, committed and ambitious club. We aim to be not only an excellent squash club but also a social and friendly place for people to play the sport they love.

Operating under the auspices of England Squash and based at the Southwell Leisure Centre we enjoy the use of 3, state of the art, glass backed courts. There are few better squash courts anywhere in Nottinghamshire.

For a small club we try to punch above our weight in team participation.  So if you are interested in playing competitive squash there are options across almost all ranges of ability.

Internal Leagues

Our internal leagues cater for a wide range of abilities too. The leagues are very active with around 25 active participants.

Club Night

Every Wednesdayfrom 7.00 – 8:20  is club night.  Club night is open to all club members and mixes the more leisurely, social players, new joiners and some team players.  No matter the standard – everyone will get a good game.

Squash 57 – Racketball

The club is a strong advocate of racketball, which since August 2016 has been renamed worldwide Squash 57.  This has been growing in popularity at the club and we have had a team in the Nottinghamshire racketball league.  Racketball is a good introduction to the squash world for those players more acquainted with tennis or badminton.
